DANIEL COLLICO SAVIO

Daniel Collico Savio is the owner and director of Snark Consulting. Before launching Snark, Daniel was IT Manager at Educ.Ar (the Argentine education portal) for about a year. He developed there a Web2.0 portal and gave support to the Encuentro TV channel and to the OLPC (One Lapotp per Child) iniciative. ).
  
Before Educ.Ar, Daniel was Broadband Manager at Telefónica de Argentina. He achieved there four consecutive years of 100% CAGR for broadband customers, in spite of 2002 economic crisis. He also worked in several positions of Network, Content and Marketing along ten years in Telefonica Group, launching several Internet and voice portal services and building a brand new structure of Internet advertising sales.
  
Daniel has lectured abroad about commercial and technical aspects of Web, Broadband and Mobile business. Most important conferences were those of Expo Comm, ITS (International Telecommunication Society, European Chapter) and IBC (LatAm).
  
Daniel has a Master on Physics from Universidad de Buenos Aires and a couple of postgraduate studies on Telecommunication Laws (Universidad de Buenos Aires) and Management ((Universidad Católica Argentina). When he has time he would have some pleasure in other areas, such as writing fiction, beling columnist about Internet and Culture (V de Vian Magazine) and training for running marathons (about 12 races in major Argentine cities). He attempts to avoid boredom with his co workers by launching running or cultural iniciatives, like the Educ.Ar Running Team on 2006. He is married, has two children and lives in the neighbourhood of Chacarita (Buenos Aires).
